After dedicating 90 minutes of classtime to “experience an event”, record it by telling the story in an unpredictable way. Graphically represent that moment in time with a unique and personal approach.

It was the first day of Spring, and I was inspired by the sunny weather and cheerful people I saw walking outside and basking in the nice weather. I decided to create a calendar and planner duo that focuses on the Spring season and the idea that there is beauty and simplicity in daily life. There is always something to look forward to, even if it seems insignificant.

These illustrations and typographic elements are all hand drawn, I took huge inspiration from an archive of 1960s/70s ephemera, and reused many of their characters.
