Tasked to create a series of thematically-linked compositions that demonstrate six of the following color schemes: Achromatic, Monochromatic, Analogous, Complementary, Triadic, Split Complementary, Tetradic/Double Split Complementary, and Clashing. I chose to create illustrations based on Wes Anderson’s films, because he deals with color in such a beautiful way. I wanted to create the effect of screen printing, so these were each hand drawn layer by layer and then put together.
