Color System Project
Tasked to create a color system based on a mood, emotion, idea, feeling, or experience
then produce a collection of pieces using your color system.
I created the mood board shown above, and from that created the color scheme to the left.
From there, I decided the feeling of the mood board and color palette was reminiscent of a vintage French children’s book, but slightly melancholy. It feels romantic and nostalgic and a little sad, so I decided to create three illustrations from a hypothetical “children’s book”, all written in French (je parle français ne t'inquiète pas!)
