After choosing an everyday object, produce a curated collection of denotative and connotative images using a wide variety of image-making mediums.

I chose to create images based on lemons initially because of how versatile they are, but I ended up really connecting with the idea of nostalgia. I took inspiration from mid-century modern illustrations and advertisements from the 1950s and 1960s to create a collection of images using many different techniques; both digital and physical drawings, hand-cut collages from magazines, digital collage and design. There were over 40 pages in the book, so these are just a few I’ve selected!
