These are all examples of other school projects I’ve done in my time at LSU.
Ligature Postcard: Design a personal ligature using your initials that embraces your own style. Create a save the date postcard announcement about an upcoming type conference. Your ligature must be the main feature; additionally, add the ligature to a secondary product.
Typography Poster - Select an artist and create a poster for an event using exclusively typography.
Stamp Project - Select an everyday object and explore it from all angles and viewpoints. Explore and visualize a concept and develop one of them to create and design four postage stamps. Each image should connect to your object without being too predictable.
Pattern Project #1 -Experiment with pattern creation on Illustrator and create two patterns. These images were hand drawn and then digitally scanned to create my patterns.

Tecovas Ad 2/2 - Select 2 decades between the years 1850 and 1970 and research the design and advertising styles of those periods. Select a modern-day company that was created in the past 10 years and develop 2 new logos for the company in the style of your chosen decades to show their hypothetical brand evolution. Build on these designs in a method of your choosing (2 advertisements).

Famous Figure Business Suite - After being assigned a historical figure, create a business that relates to them and design a corresponding business suite. I was assigned Edgar Allan Poe and created a publishing company.
Movie Poster 1/2 - Given a random popular movie from the 1980s, design a unique movie poster using only three pantone colors.

"Seven Squared" - Using the copy from a vintage advertisement (1920s-1950s), produce a series of studies utilizing the information in various ways to create a 7x7”, seven page booklet.
These were all for a production techniques class, where we used a letterpress to all finish the phrase "design is...". I chose the word sublime, and we printed them on over 40 print samples. Everyone in class then traded their prints, so we had a print of everyones word. We had to display the prints in a method of our choosing, so I trimmed them all down and made them into collages; these are a few examples
